The Start-up Roadshow, AIC BIMTECH, Greater Noida

The UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC), in collaboration with Atal Incubation Centre – Birla Institute of Management Technology (AIC BIMTECH) hosted a high-impact engagement session to deepen cross-border innovation ties under the UAE-India CEPA Start-up Series, a flagship programme aimed at accelerating international scale-up for India’s emerging ventures. The event was held at AIC BIMTECH in Greater Noida, a fast-rising hub for entrepreneurial activity in India’s National Capital Region.

The highlight of the session was the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AIC BIMTECH and the UICC, forging a new alliance focused on supporting high-potential Indian start-ups interested in accessing the UAE’s innovation ecosystem through the CEPA Start-up Series.

The UAE–India CEPA Council (UICC) and Galgotias University’s Incubation Centre for Research, Innovation, Startups and Entrepreneurs (GIC RISE) co-hosted an interactive session of the UAE-India CEPA Start-up Series Roadshow, an initiative aimed at connecting high-potential Indian start-ups with global scale-up opportunities under the UAE–India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Galgotias University’s flagship incubation centre, GIC RISE, reflects the university’s commitment to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs through hands-on incubation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strategic mentorship.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the UICC and GIC RISE, marking the beginning of a collaborative partnership focused on advancing shared goals in innovation and entrepreneurship.

The UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC), in collaboration with NSRCEL at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), one of India’s most prestigious academic incubators, convened an interactive session as part of the UAE-India CEPA Start-up Series Roadshow. Held in Bengaluru, a global hub for technology and entrepreneurship, the event marked another significant step in advancing the Start-up Series across India. The centrepiece of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NSRCEL and the UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC), formalising their partnership to identify and support high-potential Indian ventures from the IIM Bangalore ecosystem seeking to participate in the UAE-India Start-up Series.

The UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC) partnered with IILM University, through its  i-FLIE HUB Incubation Centre, located within the School of Management at the IILM University to convene a Showcase through the platform of the UICC’s flagship initiative, the UAE-India CEPA Start-up Series. A key highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the UICC and IILM University, which agreement formalises a collaborative effort to identify and support high-potential start-ups through the Start-up Series.

The event featured a welcome address by Dr. Ravi Kumar Jain, Director of the School of Management at IILM University, followed by opening remarks from Dr. Padmakali Banerjee, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of IILM University as well as special address delivered by Dr. Nikhil Aggarwal, Managing Director of FITT at IIT Delhi. The student body and faculty of IILM University also had the opportunity to participate in an interactive Q&A session led by Mr. Ahmed Aljneibi, Director of the UICC.

The UAE-India Start-up Series is a flagship initiative of the UAE–India CEPA Council, created to promote, support, and connect high-potential Indian Start-ups with meaningful opportunities in UAE and international markets. Anchored in the broader framework of the UAE–India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), this initiative seeks to deepen cross-border collaboration in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship by building new bridges between two of the world’s most dynamic ecosystems.The five most promising Indian start-ups will receive a fully sponsored soft-landing package in the UAE, including:
